Hi gers and guys,
Early this year, I was pretty inspired by Eugene's encounter with God on asking God and receiving answered prayer. Read Matthew 7:7:
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door
will be opened to you.
On that, i prayed to God that as your leader I will also encountered much amazing answered prayers this year so as to show you that God is real and God is true on His promise that when we ask Him according to His will, we will receive. Read Matthew 7:7 again : )
Much of our time is spent at out school or workplace, we need to constantly ask God to be with us and seek His anointing and power so that we may carry out His work where he placed us. Work/School work is the ministry that God has called us to be in.
As u know, God has blessed me with a larger office this year. Since then, I have been prompted by the Holy Spirit to dare to pray for large, bulk coporate orders to come in. Some of u know that, it really came in, with a request from a local Hospital to order 1800+ pencil cases for their nurses in early March. It blew our mind as it way past whatever we have done before. However, as there's competition in bidding for this deal, I started praying and asing people to pray for me. It was our church 40 days of prayer season then, and i sensed it was God way's of honouring my desire to pray regularly then and teaching me to have a higher fiath level...
Pray Specifically
God has been teaching me to pray specifically, in this case its bulk orders for the business. 1800+ is a super humongous deal if u consider just how many company out there has more than 1000+ staff? the best i ever done was 150 pieces for a local school teachers... Thus, although there are times where we pray in general, there are more times when we need to be as specific as we can..
Step out in FaithNext, God wants us to step out in faith. sometimes, just praying and not doing anything does not help, so i make sure i do my proposal bid well and communicated well with the Hospital manager. And also I also shared it with some of u. daring to share to someone about what u are praying for is a thing that we need to do. The reason is that when God answered the prayer, ppl who knows about it will rejoice and delight in the Lord together.. and i think its part of stepping out in faith to share about prayer requests with ppl in your community...
Pray Until
Last but not least, God has been teaching me to pray until. Pray until the prayer is being answered. I send in the bid in early March. 1 month passed, 2 months passed without a confirmation. U can imagined the various negative scenarios that passed thru my mind. Doubts, worries came, but passed as i persisted in prayers. It came till a stage where God has imparted upon me a seed faith where i know that i know i have the deal even though the hospital manager has not yet confirm with me. When you have allow God to work in you till this stage, God will truly and surely bless u becos u have pray thru it and pray until it happen !
True enough, God is good and I got the biggest deal of my business last week and now we are busily doing the orders. Hallelujah. very amazing really : )
So gers and guys, I am sure that there is something in you that you truly desire and you know that in God's good will, its something that He wants u to achieve also. Therefore, do pray specifically, step out in faith and pray until it happen. Be it a good school result, salvations of friends, or health or family issues at home.. let's learn to pray and ask God for breakthru.
When u pray until u know that u know that God is going to bless u. Then what a blessed life we are living when we know that God is with us.
